The Milford Exploring Law Enforcement Post receives firearms training at the American Firearms School. The training includes Firearm Safety instruction from Staff at the AF School. The course includes basic knowledge necessary to obtain a license to carry firearms, and safe handling and the basic fundamentals of shooting are discussed during the sessions. The individual students are expected to show that they could handle the firearm safely in a 50-round live fire simulator under the direct supervision of an instructor. The American Firearms School, located in N. Attleboro, MA has offered a great deal of support to the Milford Exploring Law Enforcement post in both, educating them on Firearm Safety and the use of their state of the art live fire simulators. The simulators include a variety of "shoot don't shoot" scenarios.
