The best way to find information about upcoming events is to follow us on SOCIAL MEDIA or check or EVENTS.

There were cops on my street last night, how can I find out what happened?

While most personal information is protected. A copy of our log can be requested at our head quarters. Addtionally, A daily summary of events can be found HERE.


When I call the police department for my neighbors playing loud music, do you share my name with the people I’m reporting?

We do not share the information of our calling parties.


When should I call 911?

Any scenario that requires immediate assistance from Emergency Responders.


Does Milford have a winter parking ban?

Milford does not enforce a complete parking ban. However when snow removal is required and cars need to be parked off-street; We send out alerts to our residents. You can sign up to receive these alerts HERE. If your car is left on-street during snow removal, you could be issued a ticket or towed.

Battling addiction can be one of the hardest battles any person or family can endure. Our FAMILY SERVICES UNIT works hand in hand with COMMUNITY IMPACT to get you the resources you or your loved ones need to fight the disease.


Cars speed through my neighborhood, How can I request a cop to help stop it?

You can request traffic enforcement HERE. Include as much information as you can such as times, incidents, etc. Not all enforcement requests are able to be filled immediately.


What should I do when I call 911?

The best thing any caller can do is remain calm and answer the dispatchers questions as they ask them.


Do you do public fingerprinting?

We do offer finger printing for Milford Residents. While there are no appointments needed, your wait will depend on our call volume at the time you come to the department. We ask that you bring your own finger print card.
