B&E SUSPECT IDENTIFIED AND ARRESTED FROM PREVIOUS ARREST RELEASE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE FRIDAY JUNE 26TH 2026

MILFORD – On Friday June 26, 2026, at approximately 6:32AM, the Milford Public Safety Communications Center received a call from a resident of West Walnut Street area, reporting she witnessed a Hispanic male on her CCTV system entering her home.

Milford Police Detectives were able to quickly identify Cristian Romero, 24, of Milford as the suspect when the CCTV footage matched an April 27 Milford Police Department press release for a B&E arrest.

At 10:20AM members of the Milford Police Patrol Division and Detective Bureau located Romero walking on Main Street wearing the same clothes as the suspect was wearing on the CCTV footage. As a result of the investigation, Romero was placed under arrest and brought to the Milford Police Department for booking.

“The illegal entry of homes and vehicles is one of the most invasive crimes committed. Anyone who threatens the sanctity of our resident’s dwellings will be found and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.” Said Milford Chief of Police Robert Tusino.

In addition to his open charges from the April 27th arrest, Cristian Romero has been charged with the following crimes: B&E BUILDING NIGHTTIME FOR FELONY B&E VEHICLE/BOAT NIGHTTIME FOR FELONY ATTEMPTED LARCENY ATTEMPTED LARCENY
