THROUGH TRAFFIC ON CENTRAL ST. TO BE CLOSED STARTING JUNE 2ND

Beginning June 2nd, 2025, at 7am, the Town of Milford will begin a reconstruction of the Central St. Bridge. 

Timeline: June 2nd through the end of September

Detours: Central St traffic will be diverted at Beach St and Depot St., Depot St. onto Central St. will be left turn only.

What to Expect: Due to the location and duration of the project, expect extended delays on Main St., Depot St., E Main St., Beach St., North Bow St. and South Bow St.  Detail officers will be placed at multiple locations to assist but heavy traffic is anticipated.  Additionally, on street parking will be limited and prohibited in several of the areas affected. While detail officers will be in place from 7am-7pm. The section of Central St. will remain closed for 24 hours, 7 days a week, until the project is completed.

In Preparation: Seek alternate routes in advance to ensure minimal delays and limit congestion to the area.

The Milford Police Department will make every effort to assist workers in completing this undertaking.  Your cooperation will be vital to maintain safety and keep traffic flowing while mandatory infrastructure work is being completed.
