HOPKINTON RESIDENT CHARGED FOLLOWING MULTIPLE SELF-CHECKOUT SCHEMES

MILFORD — On Tuesday January 13, 2026, the Milford Police Detective Bureau became aware of a series of shoplifting incidents at Target, located at 250 Fortune Boulevard in Milford. Target Asset protection reported a series of 12 known events, in which an unidentified white male had used the self-check lanes to shoplift merchandise via a skip-scan scheme.

In working with Target AP team, Milford Police Detectives were able to identify theft events dating back to August 2025, in which the same suspect passed through the self-check without paying for items.

Using modern investigative technology, Milford Police Detectives were able to identify Christopher Dellelo, 45, of Hopkinton, MA as the suspect in the thefts.

Dellelo has been charged with the following:
