FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE MONDAY JUNE 23RD 2025
MILFORD- On June 2, 2025, The Milford Police Department were dispatched to Benjamin Moore Manufacturing, located at 49 Sumner St. for multiple larcenies from a motor vehicle. On arrival, officers were alerted by employees that three separate vehicles had been entered and had items stolen. A video review of the parking lot depicted a slender individual with a black jacket on a bicycle.
On June 3, 2025, the Milford Police Detective Bureau began an investigation into the incident and were alerted to use of credit cards stolen from the vehicles.
Thursday, June 19, 2025, an electronic search warrant was issued that lead to the identification of a 17-year-old male from Milford as the suspect in the larcenies. Using this information, Milford Police Detectives were able to obtain and execute a search warrant for the suspect’s residence on Friday June 20, 2025. During the execution of the warrant, Detectives were able to locate evidence that led to the suspect being charged with the following:
LARCENY UNDER $1200 (x3)
CREDIT CARD FRAUD UNDER $1200 c266 §37B(g)
B&E VEHICLE/BOAT NIGHTTIME FOR FELONY (x3)
IDENTITY FRAUD
