FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE THURSDAY JUNE 11TH 2026 MILFORD — On Monday June 8, 2026, at approximately 12:46PM the Milford Public Safety Communications received a 911 call from South Central section of Milford. reporting a victim with lacerations to the neck and shoulder area.
Arriving on scene at 12:50PM, officers located the victim with visible knife wounds to their hands, neck and face. Speaking to the 911 caller at the scene, officers were directed to a nearby residence where it was believed the incident took place. Inside the residence officers observed a large amount of blood in different areas of the home.
"This incident represents a deeply disturbing act of violence that resulted in serious physical and emotional injuries to the victim," said Milford Chief of Police Robert Tusino. "We are fortunate that this incident did not result in a loss of life. I'd like to commend the outstanding response from our Patrol Division, Detective Bureau, and Family Services Unit for their swift actions and professionalism, which helped bring this case to a quick resolution."
As a result of the investigation, Raghavendar Juluru, 46, of Milford, was arrested and held on $50,000 bail.
