MILFORD POLICE AND MSP VFAS CAPTURE WANTED FUGITIVE

MILFORD — On Tuesday, December 16, 2025, members of the Milford Police Department Detective Bureau, in coordination with the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section (VFAS), conducted an operation to apprehend Bernaddy Mondesir, 27, of Brockton, MA. Mondesir was wanted on seven active warrants, including charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery on a police officer, multiple drug offenses, fraud, and several other crimes.

At approximately 8:13 a.m., members of the Milford Police Department and VFAS arrived at 160 Highland St. to execute the warrants. Upon making contact with law enforcement, Mondesir attempted to evade officers but was ultimately apprehended without incident and transported to the Milford Police Department for booking.

“I’d like to thank Massachusetts State Police VFAS for their assistance in removing a wanted felon from our community.” said Chief of Police Robert Tusino.

Following booking, Bernaddy Mondesir was transported to Milford District Court for arraignment.
