Milford – On Tuesday June 10, 2025, the Milford Police Department in collaboration with Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section (VFAS) captured Dontay Heywood, 20, of Woonsocket, RI for an extraditable warrant of first-degree robbery and using a firearm while committing a crime of violence. Also arrested Izaiah Desjarlais Blauth, 22, of Woonsocket, RI for an unrelated felony warrant.
On the morning of Tuesday June 10, 2025, VFAS informed the Milford Police Detective Bureau that Heywood, a fugitive from justice for armed robbery charges may be hiding in South Main St. area of Milford.
At approximately 2:00PM members of the Milford Police Department Detective Bureau, Special Operations, K-9 Unit and VFAS executed the warrant of arrest on South Main Street and took Dontay Heywood into custody without incident. A second male at the residence, Izaiah Desjarlais Blauth was apprehended for an active felony warrant.
At 2:49PM a search of the premises was conducted leading to the discovery of a Black HK 6mm BB Gun and 436 rounds of 7.62x51 ammunition.

Both individuals were held without bail and transported to the Worcester House of Corrections pending arraignment on the following.
