MILFORD — On Sunday, November 30, 2025, at approximately 7:22PM, the Milford Public Safety Communications Center received a 911 call from an employee at Riverside Gas, located at 146 South Main Street in Milford, reporting that a white male wearing a black mask and grey shirt had stolen several packs of cigarettes after unsuccessfully attempting to take money from the cash register.
Upon arrival, patrol officers determined the incident was an armed robbery involving a firearm. At 7:43PM, members of the Milford Police Detective Bureau, Milford Police K-9 Unit, Milford Special Operations Team, and the Massachusetts State Police K-9 Unit responded to assist in searching for the suspect and the weapon.
At approximately 8:10PM, officers located a male matching the description provided by the victim walking on Green Street. Following an on-scene investigation, Adam Busuito, 34, of Milford, was placed under arrest.
“I’m grateful for the outstanding work by the men and women of the Milford Police Department to bring this violent crime to such a quick resolution,” said Chief of Police Robert Tusino. “Violent criminals who put the members of our community in danger will be tracked down and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”
During an area search, a black Walther P22 6MM BB gun was located behind Honey Dew Donuts at 140 South Main Street. Additionally, a discarded black “Ghostface” mask and clothing consistent with those worn by the suspect were found by K-9 Titan in a nearby parking lot.
In addition to the charges from this incident, Busuito also had an outstanding warrant for armed robbery out of Boston District Court.
Adam Busuito was held without bail and will be transported for arraignment at Milford District Court this morning on the following charges:
