MILFORD – On Thursday June 18, 2026, at approximately 12:09AM, a member of the Milford Police Department Patrol division observed a white Dodge Journey traveling at erratically at a high rate of speed on Main Street.
After witnessing the white SUV crossing double-yellow centerlines multiple times, the vehicle was stopped near the Hopedale-Milford town line. When the vehicle was approached by the officer, the operator, Tamra Davis, 35 of Uxbridge began to be argumentative and aggressive when prompted for her license and registration. During the interaction, the officer detected a strong odor of alcohol. At approximately 12:19AM, Davis was placed under arrest for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. During the arrest and booking process, Davis yelled threats and homophobic insults at the officers on scene.
At approximately 12:40AM, while receiving requested medical care, Davis attempted to bite a Coastal Ambulance EMT and later kicked another Coastal Ambulance Paramedic while in their ambulance. While under arrest and awaiting care in the emergency room of UMASS Milford Regional Hospital, Davis continued to be assaultive yelling racial slurs at a hospital staff member.
As a result of the incident, Davis was held on $1500 bail and taken to Milford District Court for arraignment this morning on the following charges:
A&B ON AMBULANCE PERSONNEL A&B ON POLICE OFFICER ALCOHOL IN MV, POSSESS OPEN CONTAINER OF ASSAULT DISORDERLY CONDUCT DISTURBING THE PEACE MARKED LANES VIOLATION NEGLIGENT OPERATION OF MOTOR VEHICLE OUI-LIQUOR OR .08% SPEEDING RATE OF SPEED EXCEEDING POSTED LIMIT THREAT TO COMMIT CRIME
