MAN ARRESTED FOR BRANDISHING FIREARM AT JUVENILE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE FRIDAY MAY 22ND 2026 MILFORD — On Thursday May 21, 2026, at 2:28PM, the Milford Public Safety Communications Center received a 911 call from a juvenile reporting a male in a grey or blue SUV brandished a firearm following a dispute in front of 7-11, located at 127 Main Street.

During a field interview, Ybarra Perez told officers the gun he brandished was a BB gun and provided the location in the car in which it was stored.

“Thanks to the rapid response of our officers and the investigative technology available to the Milford Police Department, we were able to quickly identify the suspect and recover the weapon involved.” Said Milford Chief of Police Robert Tusino

Ybarra Perez was released on $200 bail and is set for arraignment at Milford District Court.
