FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE TUESDAY MAY 19TH 2026 MILFORD — On Monday May 18, 2026, The Milford Police Department, Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section and ATF Worcester concluded a long-term investigation into the illegal sale of firearms in Milford.
At approximately 8:50AM, Massachusetts State Police and Shrewsbury Police Department apprehended Robson De Souza, 20, of Milford in Shrewsbury, MA.
“Once again, a great collaborative effort with multiple agencies to get illegal firearms out of our community.” Said Milford Chief of Police Robert Tusino
De Souza was transported to Worcester Superior Court for arraignment on the following charges:
SELL/TRANSFER LARGE CAPACITY FIREARM
SELL/TRANSFER LARGE CAPACITY FIREARM
POSSESSION LARGE CAPACITY FIREARM
POSSESSION LARGE CAPACITY/FEEDING DEVICE
CARRY A FIREARM WITHOUT LICENSE
CONSPIRACY
POSSESSION AMMUNITION WITHOUT FID CARD
