FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 12TH 2025

MILFORD — On Wednesday November 12, 2025, at approximately 8:46AM, while investigating another incident, the Milford Police Detective Bureau were alerted to a phone theft from The Latin Store, located at 18 Main Street in Milford.

During the investigation, Detectives were able to identify Jose Mejia Alba, 44, of Milford as the suspect of the larceny.

At approximately 9:15AM, Milford Police Detectives arrested Mejia Alba at his workplace without further incident.

Mejia Alba was transported to Milford District Court where he was arraigned on the following charges:
LARCENY FROM BUILDING
LARCENY UNDER $1200
