Dear Members of The Milford Public Safety Telecommunications Center, Annually the second week of April is designated as National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week. Initiated in 1981, this week serves as an opportunity to celebrate the unsung contributions of call takers and dispatchers across our great country. While unseen, I want you to know that your selfless dedication to our agency and community is never unimportant or underappreciated. Over 50,000 times a year, you, the telecommunicator, are the first responder for those in need. You are the guardian in the dark to our responders and callers. Thank you for your sacrifices and steadfast commitment to the Town of Milford.
Robert Tusino Chief of Police
