SHOPLIFTING CALL LEADS TO ARREST

MILFORD – On Monday September 14, 2026, at approximately 6:22PM, the Milford Public Safety Communications Center received a call from Kohl’s department store located at 91 Medway Road. Kohl’s Loss Prevention reported they had observed a male suspect shoplifting.

On arrival Investigating officers located a male matching the description of the suspect, pushing a shopping cart full of merchandise from Kohl’s toward Town Fair Tire. An on-scene investigation identified the suspect as Malcom Gill, 51, of Providence, Rhode Island. A query of Gill resulted in two active warrants for his arrest for similar shoplifting related crimes.

As a result of the investigation, $1113.84 of merchandise was recovered. Malcom Gill was arrested for the following crimes and held without bail until his arraignment the following day.
